What is it?

Schedule:

  • June 9 – June 13

  • July 7 – July 11

Designed for students in grades 5 – 12 or those with no prior coding experience, this beginner-friendly course is the perfect introduction to the world of programming. Throughout the week, students will explore key coding concepts such as:

  • Variables

  • Functions

  • Conditionals

  • Loops

  • Parameters

  • Libraries

Two class options are available based on age and experience level:

  • Morning Session (8:30 AM – 12:00 PM): For younger students or complete beginners, we’ll use Scratch, a block-based programming language that makes it easy to learn foundational coding skills in a fun and visual way.

  • Afternoon Session (8:30 AM - 12:00 PM): For older students or those with prior coding knowledge, we’ll dive into Python, a widely-used programming language great for building real-world applications.

Lunch will be provided for all students from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.

By the end of the camp, students will present a project of their own design—an app or game that showcases what they’ve learned—giving them the confidence and skills to continue their coding journey.
