Course 1:

Build with Scratch

What is it?

This course is designed for students ages 10–14 with no prior coding experience, offering an engaging introduction to computer science using Scratch, a visual programming language developed by MIT.

Throughout the course, students will explore core programming concepts by designing interactive games, animations, and stories. Key topics include:

  • Events

  • Loops

  • Conditional Statements

  • Variables

  • Custom Blocks (Functions)

  • Broadcasting and Messaging

By the end of the course, students will have the knowledge and confidence to design and code their own original Scratch project from start to finish.
