JavaScript Game & Animation Development

What is it?

Schedule: Saturdays @ 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM

This course is designed for students ages 12–15 with no prior coding experience, offering an engaging introduction to text-based JavaScript programming through interactive game and animation development. Using Code.org's Game Lab, students will learn how professional programmers write and debug code while mastering essential concepts, including:

  • Variables

  • Functions

  • Conditionals

  • Loops

  • Sprites & Animation

  • Event-Driven Programming

​

By the end of the course, students will have the skills and confidence to design and build their own interactive game from scratch using JavaScript!
